Miguel Ángel Jiménez y Joe Durant se jugaban el título en el 3M Championship en el PlayOff después de que terminaran empatados con -19. En el primer hoyo de ese desempate los dos dejaron la bola en calle, y con el segundo tiro los dos alcanzaron el green con opción de eagle. Jiménez falló y Durant no perdonó.
